Long before I found my love for photography, I was more involved in graphic design and technical drawing. I grew up with a paint brush in my hand and many art mediums with which to create. My father was an artist, and he generously spent much of his off time teaching me and my brothers how to draw, paint and work in multiple mediums. I went a more technical route in my career path and obtained a BA in Architecture at Cal Poly, Pomona. I worked in the architectural and interior space planning fields for 13 years until my career path took a drastic change to become an employee for FedEx Express.

I dabbled in photography as a hobby during my 30 years at FedEx, taking many company event photos, and doing small personal jobs for family and friends outside of work.

Once I retired in 2023, photography became my new full time job, where my passion began to blossom. My love for humans and animals runs deep. I have always been social and it has always been easy for me to make friends and keep people at ease with laughter and a decent sense of humor.

I volunteer much of my time to SNAP-Spay/Neuter Action Project, where I am their official photographer and Advisory Committee member. This organization keeps my camera busy and at the same time I get to hang out with incredible people and wonderful pets.

I am a self-taught photographer, with a keen eye for framing a subject or image artistically, and capturing a moment in time. Eyes are the windows to the soul and my eyes carry right through my lenses to capture special moments for my clients.
